Golden Master Factory
Founded in Xiamen, Fujian Province during the 8th year of Daoguang reign (1828 CE), Golden Master workshop pioneered artisanal goldsmithing with jade inlay techniques, crafting heritage spanning 190+ years.
At that time, due to the use of bright colors, clean and flawless jade and Hetian jade as raw materials, combined with unique craftsmanship to process gold inlaid jade, its craftsmanship was the leader in the industry.
Officials and wealthy merchants from all over the country came from thousands of miles away to order, and soon gained favor and love among the people.
In the 17th year of Emperor Guangxu’s reign (1891), he was summoned to become a royal merchant, and later made exquisite gold wares for the royal nobles, and was also called "Royal Jade Gold Worker" by the palace department.
In the post-Qing Dynasty period, there was a folk song in Xiamen that "Ancient Academy, Glazed Tower, Black Satin, Golden Master". Golden Master's reputation for gold products gradually spread.
